The Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi uses a 10.1-megapixel sensor and features an automatic sensor-cleaning technology. Its predecessor had an 8.2-megapixel sensor.

Canon introduced a 70mm to 200mm zoom lens that uses the same f/4 aperture as its predecessor but which adds image stabilization to compensate for shaky hands. It will cost $1,249 beginning in November.
