HP is bringing a sub-£300 laptop to Blighty - with an eye on mobile workers and kids in classrooms.
The HP 2133 Mini-Note PC has an 8.9-inch screen and an anodised aluminium shell. WLAN comes as standard with Bluetooth an optional extra.

There is a choice of operating system on the Mini-Note: Windows Vista Business or Novell SuSE Linux.
HP says the laptop - with its built-in webcam for web conferencing and video calls - "comes equipped with the tools to help you conduct business efficiently on the go".

It weighs in at 1.27kg and is a slimline 27mm to 33mm thick - albeit not exactly MacBook Air thin, though it does have a much less hefty price-tag.
The HP 2133 Mini-Note PC will be available in the UK and Ireland next month, from £299.
