A look at the ViewPad 7e, ViewPad 7x and ViewPad 10pro...
At this year's IFA electronics trade show in Berlin, tablet makers took the wraps off a host of new slates - including a trio of devices from ViewSonic.
The ViewPad 10pro is a 10-inch tablet that can switch between the Android 2.3 operating system and Windows 7 Professional.
ViewSonic hopes that in running two operating systems on the ViewPad 10pro, consumers will be able to use the tablet for both entertainment and work.
The ViewPad 10pro is now available in the UK.
The ViewPad 7x is a seven-inch tablet that runs Android 3.2, known as Honeycomb. The tablet comes with an Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor and an internal memory of 8GB.
The tablet also features a 1024 x 600-pixel multitouch display, and has front- and rear-facing cameras.
The ViewPad 7x will be available in late September.
The ViewPad 7e is ViewSonic's low-cost tablet offering.
It comes installed with Amazon Kindle software so consumers can use the device as an e-reader as well as for browsing the web.
The ViewPad 7e is due to be released in the UK at the end of this year.
The full specifications of the ViewPad 7e have not yet been released although ViewSonic has said the tablet will feature "wireless, Bluetooth and HDMI connectivity".
