Epic's Virtual Keyboard

If you have not invested in a tablet cover which acts as a keyboard or an external, connectable keyboard, Epic's Virtual Keyboard can act as a mobile solution for when you need to type out an email or work on the go. The $129.99 virtual keyboard gadget -- which can fit in the palm of your hand -- projects a laser-based keyboard on any flat surface and can operate for approximately two hours on one charge.

The keyboard is compatible with Bluetooth devices including iPads, iPhones, smartphones and tablets.

Available for roughly $23, the Connector Pen is a handy gadget which not only fits in your pocket but eradicates the need to carry various charging cables and adaptors with you on the road. The pen contains a micro USB and 8-pin charging adaptor within its shell, and when extended provides over 20cm of charging cable. The iPhone-compatible charger also acts as a stylus, and is compatible with iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6 and 6 Plus models.

iLuv SmartShaker

There's something irritating about having your partner wake up earlier than you need to be up yourself, therefore sending you into a burst of wakefulness through the shrill sound of an alarm.

If you're often in this situation, consider purchasing the $19.99 iLuv SmartShaker. While the name leaves much to be desired, the gadget itself has potential -- the flat disc fits under a pillow and can act as a vibration-based alarm, leaving your partner blissfully asleep. You connect the SmartShaker up to your mobile device via Bluetooth, set an alarm -- whether vibration or noise-based -- and you're good to go.

StickNFind

Roughly the size of a quarter, StickNFind adds GPS location tracking to any item -- handy if you're forgetful and continually lose items such as your car keys or happen to be waiting for your luggage at the airport. Once the gadget is stuck on, an accompanying app can be used to track the item within 100 feet.

Within the app, a radar screen reveals the approximate location of your item based on your device's GPS location. The $49.99 sticker has a battery life of up to one year, and is compatible with the iPhone 4S and above, iPad 3 and above, iPod Touch and various Samsung and Android devices.

LockLite

A common occurrence for many of us is coming home late without a light source and trying to get into our houses -- and sometimes finding the gap for your key to slot into the door can leave you fumbling and frustrated. Simple but highly useful, this $8 attachment solves the problem. Snap it on to your key, press the button and an LED beam will shoot out across the surface of the key, lighting your way.
