It's at this campus in the Indian town of Pune, near Mumbai, that 1,000 staff come each day to work for outsourcer Steria.
The 16.8 acre site, set about 15km from Pune itself, provides a range of outsourcing services to public and private sector companies including Barclaycard and the NHS.

The biggest client that the Pune campus provides services to is the UK's NHS, through the NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) joint venture between the NHS and Steria.
NHS SBS provides services, including accounting and payroll, to more than a quarter of NHS trusts.

In addition to the Pune campus, shown above, which has some 500 workers dedicated to the NHS SBS, Steria also uses another campus in nearby Noida to deliver NHS services.
The NHS SBS' IT support, debt chasing, Purchase to Pay and other financial and accounting services are covered by the Noida campus.

Steria also provides services for Barclaycard out of Pune, with some 300 staff working for the card issuer on applications development and management.

Indian staff who regularly deal with clients in the UK are given training in this centre on how to speak in a neutral accent using Linguaphone software.

Steria isn't the only IT services company to set up in Pune - the same business park that plays home to Steria's campus also hosts facilities for Capgemini, Fujitsu and Syntel, whose red brick buildings can be seen from the windows of Steria's meeting room, here.
