S'pore Prime Minister visits Yahoo

Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong drops by Yahoo's headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.

On May 7, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his delegation visited Yahoo's headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. Prime Minister Lee toured the Yahoo office and met with Yahoo Co-founders Jerry Yang and David Filo, as well as Yahoo Chairman and CEO Terry Semel.
Yahoo was the only Internet company on Prime Minister Lee's visit to the United States this week, and the meeting focused on the unique opportunities that Singapore offers for technology companies and how Yahoo can partner with the Singapore government to bring higher quality and richer online experiences to the Singaporeans.

The Prime Minister received a sneak peak at a few innovative technologies coming from Yahoo, and key topics of discussion revolved around education, innovation in online and mobile technologies, and the evolving digital media industry in Singapore.
