The Playstation VR headset has a 1920 x 1080 resolution OLED display. 120 frames per second, 18ms latency and a high refresh rate deliver smooth visuals and a good VR experience. The headset is rumoured to launch in April 2016.

HTC Vive – $ not known

The up and coming HTC Vive is powered by Steam VR and is rumoured to be available from the end of February 2016. Its controllers have integrated rechargeable lithium polymer batteries with micro USB charging to provide hours of runtime on a single charge. The USB 3.0 port enables you to attach devices to the Vive. Base stations track sensors from headset and controllers.
