Amazon is kicking off the countdown to Black Friday with several weeks' worth of early deals in technology.
The retail giant is offering discounts on devices including the Amazon Echo smart home range, household electronics and more.
In the US, the Black Friday and lightning deals have already begun. In the UK, sales will begin on Monday 14th November and carry on until Black Friday, November 25.
Best Buy's Black Friday ad has revealed savings on devices including the Apple iPad Pro and Air 2, slicing both price points by $125 for the tablets, alongside deals on the Surface Pro 4 (Intel Core m3/4GB/128GB) for $599.99, down from $999, and the Roku 3 streaming box for $50.
Current deals already on offer include the 13" Apple MacBook Air for $999.99 -- a discount of $200 -- an LG 50" smart 4K Ultra HD television for $399.99 (a discount of $250), Bose SoundSport in-ear headphones for $39.99 and up to $120 in savings when you buy an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone.

UK retailer Argos is taking on Amazon this year by also offering a chance to snap up deals in tech before Black Friday and Cyber Monday officially begin.
The company has announced plans to start offering heavy discounts on tech from Friday, November 18 to Monday, November 28. Argos says that technology, consumer electronics, and accessories will all have their prices slashed -- and considering last year's discounts, you're likely to pick up items for a steal.
Retail giant Tesco has also jumped on the bandwagon with early Black Friday deals.
Tesco's Black Friday event will run from Monday, November 21st to Thursday, 1st December. The high street retailer offers products including television sets, games, consoles, and cameras, and we are likely to see some competitive discounts in the days ahead.
Walmart is hoping to get ahead of competitors this shopping season with two waves of Black Friday shopping deals in technology.
The company is running one set of discounts from now until Thanksgiving, before launching official Black Friday deals across November 24 to November 25.
Deals currently on offer include bargain HDTV televisions -- such as a Hitachi 65" 4K TV for $599, Blu-ray movies for a few dollars a piece, bundle deals on the Xbox One and cheap drones.

Target is tackling Black Friday 2016 with a range of steep discounts on electronics such as gaming consoles, televisions sets, and consumer gadgets, but shoppers can take advantage of early deals now.
The retail giant is offering early discounts on a range of technology, including an Xbox One S 500GB Battlefield bundle for $299.99, an Apple iPad Pro 9.7" for a discounted price -- starting at $599.99 -- and a $697.99 Samsung 60" 4K UHD television.

Staples is well-known for offering office technology deals every time Black Friday comes around, but this year, the company will also be offering sale prices on Internet of Things (IoT) and connected home technology such as Amazon's Echo range.
While customers will be able to descend on physical stores at 6am on the day, shoppers can take advantage of online deals on Thanksgiving. Deals include the Amazon Fire TV stick for $29.99, the Amazon Echo Dot for $39.99 and an HP Pavilion laptop with Intel Core i3 processor, 1TB storage, 8GB RAM and Windows 10 for $399.99.
Newegg is joining the likes of Amazon in launching early Black Friday deals in consumer technology.
The company's sales have already begun and will carry on through the Black Friday weekend, including hundreds of dollars off PC gaming rigs, processors, cooling systems and motherboards. Some of the top deals include $10 off the Google Chromecast streaming stick -- usually $35 -- $230 off the CyberpowerPC desktop gaming rig, complete with an Intel Core i7 6th Gen 6700K processor, 8 GB DDR4 RAM, a 2 TB HDD and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, alongside a Seagate 8TB expansion hard drive for roughly $220.
