Being a Mac user doesn't mean that you have to turn your back completely on the Windows ecosystem. There are a number of ways that you can run your favorite Windows applications on your Mac - and some won't cost you a penny.
As someone who now primarily works on Macs, I'm constantly amazed as to how well Windows runs on Apple hardware, and often joke that if Apple started making Windows PCs, they'd be some of the best Windows systems out there.
Now, the goal for any Mac user should be that you get as much of your work as possible done through the native operating system. That's going to be the best, least hassle, most effective way to go about things, but there are times when you might have to resort to running Windows for some must-have application.
