Mobile, portable and packing power -- there are some great laptops out there which are perfect for the road and won't break the bank.

MacBook Air

The Apple MacBook Air is a lightweight, sleek and has a small form factor suitable for those constantly on the road that don't want to lug around a heavy laptop. The 13.3" model can be used for up to 12 hours between charges and can be purchased with Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, 512GB storage and up to 8GB memory.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a convertible device able to work as either a laptop or tablet depending on your preferences. One for travelers thanks to an incredibly slim form factor, the Windows 10 Pro tablet also sports a 12.3" PixelSense 2736x1824 display which is great for movies, up to an Intel Core i7 processor, up to 1TB storage and 16GB RAM which is more than adequate for most applications, and can also be used as a traditional laptop with a Microsoft keyboard accessory.

Lenovo ThinkPad P40 Yoga

The hybrid Lenovo ThinkPad P40 Yoga is a 14" device which can be used as a standard laptop, stand, tent, or tablet. Suitable for travelers who want a high-spec, flexible device, the Yoga can be purchased with up to a 6th gen Intel Core i7 processor, Windows 10 Pro, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage.

HP Spectre

If you're in the market for a very light and attractive laptop to take with you on the road, the HP Spectre is a portable device suitable for enterprise users. Coming in at only 10.4mm thick, the sleek 13.3" laptop also packs decent power with up to an Intel Core i7 processor, Windows 10 Home 64, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage.

Asus ZenBook Flip

Another offering in the hybrid market is the Asus ZenBook Flip. The 13.3" display is fully rotatable and can be converted for use as a laptop, tablet or stand, and can be tailored to support up to QHD+ 3200x1800 resolution.

The laptop comes with up to 12 hours of battery life, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD storage and a 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor. Flip operates on Windows 10 Home.

Dell Latitude 7285

For something a little different, you may want to consider the Dell 2-in-1 Latitude 7285, a device which brings wireless charging to the laptop arena.

The hybrid device can be purchase with a wireless-charging keyboard base that permits the laptop to be charged through Dell's charging pad.
