If you love StumbleUpon, the site that provides users with links that they might enjoy, then you'll probably want its Apple and Android app, which lets people use the service on the go.

TechEdAU 2011

Platform: Windows Phone 7

TechEdAU 2011 helps those who are going to the Tech.Ed 2011 Australia conference on the Gold Coast, allowing them to browse recently updated sessions by time slots, browse available speakers, tags and tracks, filter sessions and save favourite session lists for later access.

Skitch

Price: Free
Platform: Android

As we wrote last week, Aussie app Skitch was bought by Evernote. One of the latter's first moves has been to make the app available on the Android market.

The app lets users create and annotate pictures and photos, and sketch ideas. The Evernote deal has also brought improved Evernote integration to the app.

Platform: BlackBerry (PlayBook)

The Pumping Lemma Company designed this open-source Twitter app to make full use of the BlackBerry PlayBook's screen, and to aid users who use lists to manage hundreds of followers.

RWC 2011 (Official Rugby World Cup app)

Price: Free
Platform: iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7

Finally, the official app for the world cup has come through for the waiting fans. It features live match coverage, video highlights, features, results and tournament info, as well as fan information, such as stadium locations and ticketing information.

This app allows users to access Western Union services on the go, sending money to over 200 countries and tracking transfers.

GoToManage (Remote Support)

Price: Free
Platform: iOS (iPad)

This app lets IT managers and consultants conduct live end-user support sessions over a network connection (including mobile, not just Wi-Fi). This app allows them to view and control a user's PC or Mac as though they were sitting in front of it.

LogMeIn Ignition

Price: $14.99 for Android, $15.99 for iOS (special offer)
Platform: iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android

Interestingly, given the release of the Citrix app, LogMeIn has halved the price of its popular remote access app Ignition as a special offer. The company would not specify how long the offer will run.
