the iClever has SmartID capability. Each port "intelligently identifies your device" and recognises the amount of power required.
You therefore can get full speed charging for all of your devices up to a maximum of 10A across all of the devices on charge.
I had quite a few problems actually getting the USB plugs into the ports of the iClever charger.
The ports are really stiff. I thought that I had put the plug in upside down and worried that I was damaging the ports. hopefully these will loosen off with continued use.
When the plug was finally in, I could lift the charger and all of the other devices attached to this with the newly attached plug.
When all six ports are in use I found it really hard to remove any of them from the charger.
I am puzzled as to why this is called a "travel wall charger". Perhaps the term refers to the wall of USB charging ports? There is certainly no option to affix the charger to the wall. However it is a nice solid, well built, sturdy charger for the desktop.
At a cost of $25.99 this is a nice light compact smart charger that is light and easy to carry and would be a great addition to your desktop gadgets in the office.
