With approximately 33 million-plus users and counting, the Wix HTML5 web publishing platform is a widely used resource in the small-business community. While its primary service is free, the company is now selling the Google Apps for Business suite, including branded Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Drive.

That means small-business owners will be able to add Google cloud applications to any of the websites or domains that they manage through the Wix dashboard. The configuration and setup has been simplified: According to Wix, it takes two clicks.

The pricing starts at $4.08 per month for one year, and $4.95 per month for a month-by-month package. (Additional users cost the same price.)

Wix, which adds an estimated 1.3 million users per month, generates its sales through upgrades to its free service that allow customers to attach their websites to their own domain names, remove the Wix branding, and add e-commerce capabilities. Wix has also become the hub for third-party applications that allow small businesses to add social media capabilities, chat, scheduling, file management, and other features to their websites.
