26% of Internet users have no idea what RSS feed is, 23% have never heard of podcasting

88% of Internet users have a pretty good idea of what spam is, but 26% have not heard of an RSS feed, Pew Internet & American Life Project found in survey, conducted in May and June 2005. Other popular terms that a majority of Internet users seemed to grasp included firewall and spyware.
