50% of digital music player owners have less than 100 songs on them

An average owner of high-capacity hard-drive-based digital music player stores only 375 songs on the device, Solutions Research Group reports on CNET News.com. 25% of music player owners have between 100 and 499 music files, another 25% have more than 500 files, and a half of users have less than 100 songs.
