6 of 10 top PC hardware manufacturer sites had double-digit growth in May 2005

Visits to 6 out of the top 10 online computer hardware manufacturers' sites increased by double digits in May 2005, according to Nielsen/NetRatings. Intel led the group with a 56% increase to 1.36 mln visits from 870,000 in May 2004. PalmOne was #2 with visits rising 31% to 1.42 mln from 1.08 mln a year earlier; followed by Motorola, up 30% to 1.16 mln from 893,000; Apple, up 26% to 24.67 mln from 19.51 mln; Dell, up 17% to 14.33 mln from 12.21 mln; and Toshiba, up 13.9% to 1.31 mln from 1.15 mln.
