61% spend more time on Internet now compared to a year ago

When BURST! asked 2,600 Web users about changes in their media consumption over 2004, 61% of respondents said they spend more time on the Internet today than a year ago, with 32% of respondents saying they spend "much more time" online, and 29% claiming to spend "somewhat more time" online.

When BURST! asked 2,600 Web users about changes in their media consumption over 2004, 61% of respondents said they spend more time on the Internet today than a year ago, with 32% of respondents saying they spend "much more time" online, and 29% claiming to spend "somewhat more time" online. At the same time, 36% said they are spending less time today than a year ago watching television, 34% spend less time reading magazines, 30% devote fewer hours to reading the newspaper, and 27% aren't listening to the radio as much.
