The year 2005 is turning out to be another good year for mobile handset shipments. iSuppli has increased its forecast for 2005 to 810 mln handsets shipped. QTQ growth in 2005 exceeded forecasts, with shipments for Q1-Q3 2005 coming in at 571 mln.
