A quick Presidents' Day post

Well, today is day 4 of new Mac goodness and here in the States, it's Presidents' Day. I'm taking the day off from blogging and schools are closed on this rainy day in New England (and my basement is a bit waterlogged since most of Massachusetts is melting), so I'm headed to IKEA.

Woo hoo!

A quick update for the day, though: I still really love my Mac. Easy software installs, a slick wizard for setting up dual boot, extraordinary battery life (I'm pushing around 5 hours under ordinary use), and a really outstanding keyboard/touchpad make using the MacBook a pleasure. I do, however, miss the endless repositories of free software available in Linux.

I'll be back tomorrow with more updates and regular Ed Tech posts. Have a great day off if you're in the States (or someplace else that celebrates a bank holiday today).
