Adobe kuler is a flash-based web application from Adobe Labs that lets users create and share color schemes based on predefined color formulas, or by mixing their own using an interactive color wheel. Users can also tag and rate schemes, and leave comments, as well as search for top rated or most recently created schemes, and by tags.

Schemes can then be downloaded in the Adobe Swatch Exchange (.ASE) file format for use in any of Adobe's Creative Suite applications including Photoshop and Illustrator. Adobe kuler also offers RSS feeds, and a Mac OSX widget (Windows version to come).

I have to admit I'm very impressed with kuler: it's a dead simple idea but very well executed, and will prove useful to designers of all backgrounds and disciplines -- from print, web design, to DIY.
