Advanced Micro signs supply deal with Alcatel
Chip maker Advanced Micro Devices said on Monday it signed a $300m deal to supply French telecommunications equipment maker Alcatel with memory devices during the next two years
Under the deal, Advanced Micro will provide Alcatel with memory units to support Alcatel products such as high-speed digital subscriber line modems, cellular phones and telecommunications infrastructure, the companies said in a statement.
Advanced Micro's shares closed at 57-1/16 on Friday on the Nasdaq stock market.
