Akamai in broadband deal with RoadRunner

Akamai Technologies Inc., (Nasdaq: AKAM) which makes technology that speeds delivery of Web content, has signed a deal with RoadRunner, a cable Internet service. RoadRunner, a joint venture of several cable firms, said it would use Akamai's servers to improve the speed of its Web sites.
