If you placed an order for a replacement power adaptor on Apple's website then you should have received your new adaptor within a week. If you planned on making a pilgrimage to your nearest Apple Store to make the swap, the the time to make that journey is upon you (leave your credit cards at home if you are worried that you can't trust yourself!).

Note: If your adaptor has a green dot on the bottom, you have a redesigned adaptor and are safe.

Remember, if you are making the swap at an Apple Store, you need to take your affected adapter and your iPhone 3G with you.
