Security Update 2006-001 (Intel) is now available (via Software Update). According to Apple, the 23.2MB update fixes lots of nastiness uncovered for the Mac OS in the past few weeks, including:

  • IPSec
  • LaunchServices
  • LibSystem
  • loginwindow
  • Mail
  • rsync
  • Safari
  • Syndication

According to CNet's Joris Evers the update fixes 20 vulnerabilities, including a high-profile web browser and Mail flaw disclosed last week.
