Business-to-business software firm Ariba matched reduced earnings expectations for the second quarter, but saw revenues fall about $10 million short of analysts’ expectations, the company said Friday.

Revenues for the second quarter were $90.7 million, up 126 percent from the year-ago quarter, but short of the $109.87 million predicted by analysts polled by First Call. Ariba (arba), which had lowered earnings guidance earlier this month, reported a net loss excluding certain special charges of $48.3 million, or 20 cents per share, matching estimates.
