Asia-Pacific telecom revenue reached $7.6 bln in 2004

Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) wholesale telecom revenue in 2004 reached $7.6 bln. IDC expects this to rise to $10.2 bln in 2009 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6%. The research company expects these numbers would have been higher had it not been for the slow progress in deregulation efforts seen in a number of countries around the region.
