Interliant says it with flowers...Interflora has signed up ASP Interliant to host its email system, which connects the company to more than 2,000 florists across the UK. For the next two years the Lotus notes system will give florists the ability to send and view orders to and from Interflora. When orders come in over the phone or via the internet the order is fulfilled by the nearest florist. In the past this has been managed by a messaging service provided by Interflora. It hopes the new email system will speed-up this service and make it more reliable. Interliant will be on hand to provide 24-hour technical support and monitoring seven days a week. This deal is a welcome vote of confidence for Interliant and the troubled ASP industry which has been mired in negative publicity of late.
