Joel Klein, the former antitrust chief for the Justice Department who attacked Microsoft (msft), has been tapped to head the U.S. operations of German media giant Bertelsmann. Klein was named chairman and chief executive of Bertelsmann Inc. on Wednesday. In that post, he will help the company direct the controversial use of file sharing on the Internet, and he will help develop Bertelsmann's strategy for bringing its vast media and entertainment products to the Internet.
