BlackBerry users have been hit by another day of messaging and browsing problems, RIM has confirmed.

Yesterday's service issues affected BlackBerry users in the EMEA region but today the issues have widened to include users in India and South America as well, the company has revealed.

"Some users in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, India, Brazil, Chile and Argentina are experiencing messaging and browsing delays," RIM said in a statement, adding: "We are working to restore normal service as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused."

RIM has not released details of what caused yesterday's issues or whether the problem is related to the current outage.

The company has also not disclosed how many users are affected by today's outage or yesterday's.

Twitter users started reporting the latest BlackBerry service problems earlier this afternoon.

One irate user tweeted: "Thanks BlackBerry. This is great. Keep up the bad work."
