BlockBuster is pulling back a bit on that immediate rental program announced recently. Now Warner Bros. DVDs will only be available to rent via BlockBuster kiosks at 28 days after the release.

The benefits for BlockBuster here includes "lower acquisition costs, a direct relationship with the Studio, and access to ample quantities of theatrical new release product four weeks after the street date."
