Bluetooth shipments to reach 316 mln by 2005, 866 mln by 2009

Bluetooth is firmly established as a short-range wireless solution for voice and data transmission, as 2005 will be the 4th consecutive year in which Bluetooth-enabled product shipments more than double, reports In-Stat. 2005's shipments are forecast to be 316 mln units, a total that will rise to 866 mln in 2009.
