... and other podcast nonsense, such as 'stall calls'...

silicon.com is proud to announce the latest edition of its popular Weekly Round-Up podcast, offering an irreverent look at some of the past week's news.

You can listen here or even subscribe in iTunes here. (Or, pick up the XML feed here.)

We need your feedback

What do you think of our Weekly Round-Up podcast? We welcome all feedback. Please email editorial@silicon.com.

Topics up for discussion this week include National Work From Home Day, or as one member of the team puts it "watching Jeremy Kyle and Trisha".

The team also discusses the contents of Labour MP Geoff 'Buff' Hoon's MP3 player after the former defence secretary declared a 'war of words' on Apple in a newspaper interview this week, slamming the company for running a "monopolistic" practice in the form of iTunes - its proprietary music shop.

And given his track record of launching military campaigns the team even wondered whether Hoon might resort to extreme measures to mete out justice to Apple.

And if you're wondering what Hoon listens to. "He's listening to Arcade Fire and the Arctic Monkeys," said silicon.com community editor Andy McCue. "... or so his aides have told him" - suggesting such answers may owe more to image consultants than taste in music.
