A Netgear partner on Tuesday revealed that the company will announce the world's first 4x4 MIMO 802.11n Wi-Fi HD video bridge at CES 2010.

The reveal came thanks to partner Quantenna, which divulged that Netgear was planning to introduce a 802.11n wireless HD media product to allow users to watch multiple HD streams in the home, using an existing wireless network.

The wireless collaboration comes in the form of the following: full HD networking that includes 4x4 Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), dynamic digital beamforming and wireless channel monitoring and optimizing.

What that translates to is streams across distances of 100 feet or more, "regardless of signal interferences and dead zones that exist in most residential environments," Quantenna says.

Netgear hasn't yet officially announced the wireless video bridge, but expect it to be on display for demonstration this week at CES 2010.
