Cisco adds SolveDirect, bolsters services

Cisco is also a SolveDirect customer. SolveDirect will be lumped into Cisco Services.

Cisco said Monday that it will acquire SolveDirect, a Vienna-based company that offers cloud integration software. Cisco's plan is to tuck it into its services unit.

In a blog post, Cisco noted that SolveDirect's software allows secure data sharing between various enterprise and cloud systems. These data exchanges often require manual work. SolveDirect automates workflow and data swapping.
