CISCO Systems has provided a framework that will enable businesses to save millions through the optimization of Internet technology and web-enabled workforce.

In the first ever CxO breakfast forum of Cisco Systems Philippines held recently in Makati City dubbed ''Revolutionizing Business in the Internet's Economy'', top management was given a handle on how they can migrate their bricks-and mortar operations to an ebusiness organization.

The program also included discussions on the Internet’s impact to businesses, NetReadiness, success stories and a background on the Internet business solutions workshop.

Noel Rivera, country manager of Cisco Systems Philippines emphasized that the company has always adopted the out-of-the-box approach when it comes to providing solutions to their customers. “We always keep in mind that the New Internet Economy goes beyond marketing websites or selling goods and services on line. It is getting the right cost effective solutions so that your business can stay ahead of the competition.”

In fact, Cisco Systems has reported dramatic results from the company’s Internet business solutions, realizing an annual savings of nearly US$1.4 billion. Cisco also reported that 70% of support calls are now resolved over the Internet with customer satisfaction consequently increasing significantly.

“The key advantages of Cisco in implementing Internet solutions is our expertise, architecture and eco-partners,” said Robert Poole, customer solutions manager for the Internet Business Solutions Group of Cisco Systems Asia Pacific. “Cisco’s experience as an ebusiness organization has set the standard for ebusiness transformation, creating Internet solution leading practices in the transformation of core processes complemented by worldclass service and support.”

“Cisco has established technology leading architecture by utilizing intelligent network services to offer a complete end to end solution,” said Poole. “And through our eco-systems, we have accelerated the success of e-business. In fact, we have partnered with the best of breed application providers and system integrators who have proven experience in building e-business applications and solutions.”
