Clonezilla rocks the house!

After installing Windows XP, updating it, restarting it, authenticating it, and then installing a stack of Free Software from the OpenDisc DVD, and configuring that (with probably a few more restarts thrown in), I thought, with 3 machines to go:“I don’t want to do this again…”So I didn't. I used Clonezilla instead.

kitty vs. godzilla

After installing Windows XP, updating it, restarting it, authenticating it, and then installing a stack of Free Software from the OpenDisc DVD, and configuring that (with probably a few more restarts thrown in), I thought, with 3 machines to go:

“I don’t want to do this again…”

So I didn't. I used Clonezilla instead. It’s a rescue disc and a backup utility. Essentially a customised Linux with tools and instructions for you to make a disk image which can then be quickly written onto other PCs.

Thank you oh mighty Clonezilla, big hugs all round :)
