CO2 is increasing says US report, but GW doubters give raspberry

A new report based on data collected at the observatory on Mauna Loa, Hawaii, shows CO2 levels in the atmosphere are higher than they've been in a long time. How long? About 650-million years. Global warming researchers says CO2 is major greenhouse gas and contributes to warmer and warmer temperatures in the atmosphere.

China's recent growth and heavy reliance on coal gets special mention. On that issue the June "Atlantic" has a piece by James Fallows on the greening of China. Yeah, that China. The one with the Olympics this summer. The piece is not yet online at Atlantic's official site. So maybe you need to use Zinio to get your info. Anway, Fallows finds China's environmental awareness and action to be positive, after stating clearly that China's air is NOT clear and has been getting worse.

Meanwhile, it isn't just CO2 that's increasing atmospherically. There's methane on the increase. And it's a charter member of the Greenhouse Gas Gang. It's a bigger mystery why that is happening.

For the GW disbelievers there's an answer to every scientific study, and this website sorta wraps them all up, or rather raps them down. Either it's not happening, or it's just mother nature playing her tricks on us, again.
