Compaq wins $60 million contract

Indiana HMO Cardinal Health System has named Compaq Computer its exclusive provider of servers, storage systems, desktop PCs and laptops in a three-year deal valued at $60 million. Cardinal will purchase Compaq's high-end AlphaServer Unix systems as well as the Intel-based ProLiant servers, the companies said in a statement.
