Crysis Warhead - Out tomorrow!!!
OK, Christmas has come early for me - Crysis Warhead is released tomorrow!
This isn't the second chapter in the Crysis trilogy, but more a stand-alone expansion pack (it has been described as the "Back to the Future II of videogames" ...). It's also prices along the lines of a stand-alone expansion ($29.99).
If I get hooked on this like I did the original Crysis (yeah, I admit it, I was pretty hooked ... ) then I'll be spending a lot more time in front of the PC than usual.
The minimum spec for Crysis Warhead is almost identical to that of the original game:
- CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz (3.2 GHz for Vista), Intel Core 2.0 GHz (2.2 GHz for Vista), AMD Athlon 2800+ (3200+ for Vista) or better
- RAM: 1GB (1.5GB on Windows Vista)
- Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (Radeon X800 Pro for Vista) or better
- VRAM: 256MB of Graphics Memory
- Storage: 15GB
- Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible
- ODD: DVD-ROM
- OS: Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or Microsoft Vista
- DirectX: DX9.0c or DX10
Not sure what the DRM is like on this game (I understand that it uses SecuROM v7 like Crysis did but that there is no online activation component) ... I'll let you know when I get it.
