E-commerce to reach $316 bln by 2010

American firms will sell $316 bln in goods and services via the Web by 2010. That figure would represent more than double the online spending in 2004. According to Forrester, e-commerce will amount to some 12% of all retail sales in 2010, up from about 7% today.
