Following two keynotes, one by Howard Gardner and the other by Andrew Stern, and then Esther Dyson's Q&A with Yahoo's Jerry Yang, education was clearly a hot button amongst the attendees on opening afternoon here at PC Forum
. As the discussion heated up, Mitch Kapor (pictured right) took his turn at the microphone to challenge Esther's Jerry-Andrew-Howard panel to think about how corporate culture must change if parents, who are one cornerstone of their childrens' education, are going to have the time to be that cornerstone. He mentioned the standard 80 hour work week. I thought it was 100. The photo
was posted to Flickr where Kapor said the challenge wasn't just to the panel, but to the audience as well.
