Eurocom has introduced the X8100 Leopard laptop computer, a behemoth of a machine with space for a quartet of hard drive bays that can hold up to 3TB of storage space, plus almost every connectivity option you could want.

The 64-bit X8100 Leopard is targeted towards serious gamers or serious worker bees (and better yet, those who might be both). Configuration is an open book with some specs, but none more so than with the graphics selections with a plethora of different GPUs supported. The range goes from NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285M with 1GB of dedicated DDR3 video memory to Quadro FX 3800M with 1GB of GDDR3 RAM. Buyers also select preference for a single or dual SLI/CrossFireX cards with GeForce/ATI Radeon GPUs or aQuadro graphics processor.

That's just the beginning. Weighing in at just under a massive 12 pounds, here's the bounty you can find within that dark chassis:

  • 18.4-inch HD glossy display (two resolution options)
  • Intel Mobile i7 processor options (up to 2.13 GHz i7 Extreme 940XM)
  • Windows 7 and XP OS options
  • Up to 8GB of RAM
  • DVD burner (Blu-ray optional)
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR
  • Internal TV HDTV Tuner
  • Theatre audio system
  • 2-megapixel webcam
  • Fingerprint reader
  • 7-in-1 card reader
  • 220W AC Adapter (included)
  • Connectivity: Three USB 2.0 ports, eSATA/USB combo port, DVI, HDMI-in and HDMI-out, Ethernet, FireWire, ExpressCard slot, Kensington security

If style important to you, note the LED lighting system under the keyboard, around the vents and on the logo. Available in five hues (blue, green, red, white and yellow), it's too flashy for work, but might enhance the gaming experience a little (or make you feel like you're in an arcade).
The X8100 Leopard is available for ordering on Eurocom's site now, with pricing starting at a whopping $2,090.
