A security expert who exposed a vulnerability on E*Trade's online investing site in September says he's discovered a similar problem at Charles Schwab's online investment site. Jeffrey Baker says a computer attacker could wrest control of a Schwab customer's online trading account. But he acknowledges that the security flaw is so complicated that most users are unlikely to fall victim to the problem. Schwab (sch) spokesman Greg Gable said the company was aware of the problem and is currently testing a solution, scheduled to be installed in early 2001. -- Bob Sullivan, MSNBC
