FileMaker Inc. on Wednesday announced the development of FileMaker Mobile, which will provide users of the company's FileMaker Pro database with the ability to download databases into their Palm OS-compatible PDAs and take the data with them. FileMaker Mobile is plug-in technology designed to work in tandem with FileMaker Pro 5, the current rev of the flagship Mac and Windows database software from the Apple Computer Inc.
