Five years ago: BT Internet introduces £4.70 pcm access
BT Internet has begun offering a £4.70 per month access plan

Plan 180 offers hourly fee access with the first three hours per month available for the basic charge. Additional time costs 2.35 pounds per hour.
The service doesn't include the four additional e-mail addresses or 2.5Mb of Web space bundled into the BT Internet Plan Unlimited service. Subscribers can, however, change between services at the end of each month.
BT Internet said prices will be reviewed in July 1997.
