Memory maker Kingston Technology announced Monday that until Jan. 31, 2002, or until supplies run out, the company will offer a free 128MB memory module to new buyers of select Sony Vaio notebooks. Purchasers of Vaio PCG-FX340, PCG-FX340K, PCG-FX340P, PCG-FX310, PCG-FX310K, PCG-FX310P, PCG-FXA33 and PCG-FXA32 notebooks can redeem a coupon at a Kingston Web site for the additional memory. --Richard Shim, ZDNet News
