Fujitsu Software on Tuesday introduced its plan to increase its share of the server software market outside of Japan. The company is commercializing several corporate software products, including an XML-based search engine and integration software, which Fujitsu, the company's Japanese parent has been selling only in Japan.

Until now, Fujitsu Software has mainly sold workflow software, called Interstage Business Process Manager, for automating company processes in the United States, Europe and Australia. The company said it would expand its software portfolio--called Interstage Suite--to include corporate portal software, integration software tools, data analysis software and an XML search engine. Fujitsu Software is investing in marketing to raise brand awareness and is seeking reseller partnerships with other software providers, company executives said.
