Applications hosting company FutureLink recently announced the acquisition of two server-based computing integrators as part of its effort to meet growing application service provider demand.

The deal for Async Technologies Inc., of Detroit, and CN Networks Inc., of Pleasanton, Calif., is worth an estimated $33 million and will add 47 employees to FutureLink, officials said.

Both Async and CN Networks specialize in server-based computing implementations using technology from Citrix Systems Inc.
