Global chip sales up in Q3 2003

Worldwide semiconductor sales in the third quarter rose 13.7% from the prior quarter and 17.5% from a year ago. The revenues rose to $43.3 billion for the Q3, according to the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) based in San Jose, California.
