Because I know that anyone taking the time to read this on Christmas Day will really not want to think all that much about work issues, here's a post that might be inspired by all those gadgets you and your family might have received as gifts.

Green Plug, the tech company that advocates the concept of universal chargers and power sources that can be used with more than one of your various electronics and computing devices, has set up a Web site under the mantra "I Want My Green Plug" so that individual consumers can submit the names of the specific products and brands that they'd like to see support its technology. I'm guessing that the company will use the information to help prioritize its partnership efforts. When I logged on to submit my own preferences just now, about 2,000 people had "voted."

The first gadget to use the Green Plug spec is the mCube 90g from Innergie, which it will show off at the Consumer Electronics Show in early January.
